Safari Park is a zoo, but it’s larger than a zoo. Safari Park is like commercial tourist attraction where visitors can drive in their own vehicles and observe the wildlife, rather than viewing animals in cages or small enclosures. The location Taman Safari Indonesia is in the highway between Jakarta and Bandung West Java. It is just 80 km drive from Soekarno – Hatta International Airport Jakarta or only 1.5 – 2 hours by vehicle. While from Bandung , it is 78 km or 3 hours by car. If using a public transportation or bus from Jakarta or Bandung, stop at Cisarua or Safari T-Intersection then continue by Ojek (hired motorcyle) or Angkot (local public transportation) to reach Taman Safari Indonesia in 10 minutes.
This park is located in 2 location. Indonesia Safari Park I is located in Cibereum, Cisarua, Bogor , West Java and Indonesia Safari Park II is located in Arjuna mountain, Prigen, East Java. You can see a lot of animal there from around the world and local animal too such as komodos, orangutans, elephants, white tigers, lions and etc. Safari Park also has many tourist attraction like miniature trains, carnival rides, safari buses , and gift shops.
